Shipping & Refunds

Shipping

We ship via USPS from Topanga, California. Orders placed before 11:00am Pacific on a business day ship the same day; orders placed later ship the next business day. We do not ship on weekends or US federal holidays.

Once a Tadula leaves us, USPS transit averages 3 business days inside the continental United States, with Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories running 4-7 business days. You will get an email with tracking when the label is created.

Shipping is included in the $10 price. We do not charge for shipping separately and we do not ship outside the United States at this time.

Refunds — the short version

We offer a full refund on any Tadula product within 30 days of the ship date. No questions asked, no return shipment required. Email hello@tadula.com with your order number, and we will refund the original payment method.

Why the refund policy works this way

A Tadula costs us very little to make. The cost of a generous refund policy is, in practice, near zero. The cost of looking stingy is much higher. So we wrote the policy we would want as customers.

What is refundable

  • Any one-time purchase, within 30 days of the ship date.
  • Any subscription shipment, within 30 days of the ship date. Canceling your subscription stops future shipments immediately.
  • Multi-pack shipments, in full or proportionally if you only want a partial refund.

What is not refundable

  • Shipments delivered more than 30 days before the refund request, unless the product is defective. Defects are always covered.
  • Resold or distributed scrapers. The refund is for the original purchaser only.

How to get a refund

  1. Email hello@tadula.com with your order number and the reason if you would like to share one (you do not have to).
  2. We will refund the original payment method within five business days.
  3. You can keep the scraper, throw it away, or pass it to a friend. We would rather not pay for a return shipment of a small plastic object.

Defective products

If a Tadula arrives broken or develops a defect within a year of delivery, email us a photo and we will ship a replacement at no charge.

Subscription cancellation

Canceling a subscription is separate from refunding a past shipment. You can cancel any time from your dashboard. If you cancel after a shipment has charged but before it has shipped, you can request a refund of that shipment using the process above.
