Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Tadula website at tadula.comand the products and services offered through it (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Veronata, Inc., a California corporation with its principal place of business at 2261 Market Street STE 22406, San Francisco, CA 94114 (“Veronata,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and 18 years old to purchase a product or enter a subscription. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these age requirements and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. Accounts

We currently offer account creation through Google sign-in. You are responsible for the security of the Google account you use to sign in and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, please email us at hello@tadula.com.

3. The waitlist

Joining the waitlist tells us you are interested in being notified when a Tadula product becomes available for purchase. Joining the waitlist is free and does not create any payment obligation. You can leave the waitlist at any time by canceling your account or contacting us.

4. Products and subscriptions

Once products are available for purchase, you may buy a single Tadula scraper or subscribe to receive shipments on a recurring schedule. Subscription details, including default cadence, pricing, and cancellation, are described on the product page at the time of purchase and summarized on your dashboard. Subscriptions automatically renew until you cancel. You can cancel from your dashboard in one click.

Prices are in U.S. dollars. We ship within the United States only at this time. Sales tax is included in displayed prices where applicable.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By providing payment information, you authorize Veronata and Stripe to charge the payment method on file for the applicable amount. Veronata does not store full credit card numbers; we store only the identifier Stripe gives us to charge the saved card on subsequent renewals.

6. Shipping

We ship via USPS. Most orders arrive within five to ten business days of the ship date. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier or for packages that are mis-delivered to an incorrect address you provided.

See our Refund Policy for the full details. The short version: we offer a full refund within 30 days of any shipment, no questions asked.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to harass other people, to attempt to access accounts that are not your own, to reverse-engineer the Service in a way that violates applicable law, or to resell our products without a written distribution agreement.

9. Intellectual property

The Tadula name, wordmark, written content, photography, and product design are the property of Veronata, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. You retain ownership of anything you submit to us (for example, customer service messages), and you grant us a non-exclusive right to use that content as needed to provide the Service.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” The information on this site is for general informational purposes and is not medical or dental advice. Tongue scraping is generally considered safe for healthy adults, but if you have any oral health conditions, please consult a dentist before adopting any new oral-care practice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veronata is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past twelve months, or one hundred dollars (whichever is greater).

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out and, if applicable, canceling your subscription. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will email you at the address associated with your account and update the “last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
